Kanbe’s Markets is bringing the Ugly Dinner series to Prima Facie Bistro in downtown Parkville on October 7th for a one-night-only dining experience celebrating great food, creativity, and thoughtful sourcing.
Chef James and the Prima Facie culinary team will create a custom multi-course menu inspired by fresh produce redirected by Kanbe’s, transforming ingredients that might otherwise go to waste into dishes created especially for the evening. It is a delicious expression of something at the heart of Kanbe’s mission: food worth saving is food worth celebrating.
The evening begins with a cocktail hour, followed by a 4 course dinner and an opportunity to experience Kanbe’s mission in a whole new way.
Your ticket supports Kanbe’s work redirecting fresh fruits and vegetables to more than 125 local businesses in low-access neighborhoods and over 60 hunger relief partners across the Kansas City metro.
